
Theophilia Afful is a Founder and Board Chairperson of The Sena Foundation, bringing over twenty years of experience in elementary education and four years in pastoral ministry, she contributes her expertise in educational leadership and management to advance the Foundation’s mission and impact. Theo currently serves as the Discipleship Pastor at NewLife Church. Her greatest joy in ministry is witnessing individuals grow in their love for the Lord and His Word while deepening their commitment to serving for the glory of God. Known for her personable, meticulous, and hardworking nature, she lives by the principle: “If it must be done, it must be done well.” Her passion lies in spiritual formation, discipleship, and equipping others to embrace God’s calling on their lives. Throughout her career, Theo has served in a variety of educational and ministerial roles such as a classroom teacher, ESL teacher, Lead Teacher, and Instructional Coach, Deacon Board member, and a Stephen Minister. Beyond her professional and pastoral responsibilities, Theo’s greatest delight is worshiping her Audience of One. She also treasures time with her incredible children, whom she considers her pride and joy, and enjoys listening to music and watching meaningful movies or shows with them.

Miatta Edi-Osagie serves as a dedicated Board Member of The Sena Foundation, bringing 15 years of experience in public health care administration. Over the course of her career, she has built a reputation for operational excellence, strategic leadership, and a deep commitment to improving the quality of life for vulnerable populations. She brings this expertise to help advance the Foundation’s mission. She currently works as an administrator at Athena Healthcare Systems, where she oversees facility operations, compliance, quality improvement initiatives, staff development, and patient-centered care planning.
Miatta is known for her passion for building innovative, sustainable support systems that honor dignity and equity, working closely with families, community partners, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver meaningful outcomes.
In addition to serving on the board, Miatta is actively involved in church as a Deaconess and Minister, and community service to those facing housing and food insecurities, demonstrating a commitment to the Foundation’s values of academic, emotional, and spiritual support.
Matt has Master of Science in Health Administration. When not working or volunteering, Miatta enjoys farming, teaching, and ministering to the indigent.

Matthew Maguy serves as Treasurer and Board Member of The Sena Foundation, bringing extensive experience in accounting, financial management, and nonprofit leadership. With a passion for empowering underserved students through faith-based and educational initiatives, he contributes his expertise in financial oversight, strategic planning, and stewardship to help advance the Foundation’s mission. He currently works as an Accounting Manager at a biotechnology company, where he focuses on financial reporting, compliance, and operational excellence. Matthew is known for his integrity, attention to detail, and collaborative leadership style. In addition to his work with the Foundation, Matthew has served as a Board Member, Treasurer, and Minister at NewLife Church, where he actively supports community outreach and discipleship programs, reflecting his deep commitment to service and spiritual growth.
Matt has Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (Expected Spring 2026)
When not working or volunteering, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family, traveling to the Caribbean, and playing golf.

Oyeyemi serves as a dedicated Board Member of The Sena Foundation, bringing 20 years of experience in the Medical Device/Healthcare Industry. With a passion for empowering underserved students, she contributes expertise in strategic planning to help advance the Foundation’s mission.
She currently works as a Sterility Assurance Manager at resor3d, where she focuses on product quality, sterility and integrity of knee and hip replacement implants to make sure that patients are getting the best of products that help promote their quality of life. Oyeyemi is known for her compassionate leadership and fervent love for the things of God and His people.
In addition to serving on the board, Oyeyemi is actively involved with ministry at the NewLife Church demonstrating a commitment to the Foundation’s values of academic, emotional, and spiritual support. When not working or volunteering, Oyeyemi enjoys exploring different cultures through traveling with family and friends

Denny Cruz serves as a committed Board Member of The Sena Foundation, bringing eight years of experience in the housing field, including four years in affordable housing as an Assistant Property Manager. With a strong heart for service, she has also worked as an advocate at a nonprofit organization supporting survivors of domestic violence. Denny is passionate about uplifting underserved families and ensuring they have access to stability, encouragement, and hope.
Denny contributes valuable strengths in administration, organization, and compassionate support for communities in need. Her professional experience allows her to understand the challenges families face, and she brings that insight to help advance the Foundation’s mission of providing academic, emotional, and spiritual support to students and their families.
Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Denny came to the United States at age 18. Her faith in Christ is central to her life, guiding her purpose, leadership, and desire to serve others with love and integrity. She is dedicated to living out her values and being a positive example to those around her.


Tricia Asantewaa Kumi serves as a dedicated Board Member of The Sena Foundation, bringing 2.5 years of experience in Law Offices and 3 years in Retail. With a passion for empowering underserved students, she contributes expertise in tutoring, strategic planning, and community engagement to help advance the Foundation’s mission. She currently works as a Foreign Filing Reporting Paralegal at McCarter and English, where she focuses on managing all paperwork and communications related to foreign patent cases. Tricia is known for being hardworking, adaptable, and patient. In addition to serving on the board, Tricia is actively involved in church demonstrating a commitment to the Foundation’s values of academic, emotional, and spiritual support.
Tricia holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Suffolk University and Certificate in Paralegal Studies.

Selasi Afful-Sampedey serves as a dedicated Board Member of The Sena Foundation, bringing 2 years of experience in sales. With a passion for empowering underserved students, he contributes expertise in marketing to help advance the Foundation’s mission.
He currently in school at a UMass Lowell, where he focus on his studies in marketing. Selasi is known for compassionate leadership, mentorship, and integrity. In addition to serving on the board, Selasi is actively involved in church activities at NewLife Church, Leominster, MA demonstrating a commitment to the Foundation’s values of academic, emotional, and spiritual support.
